2025 Superflex TEP Rookie Mock Draft Superlatives
With less than three weeks until the 2025 NFL Draft, Christian analyzes a recent 2025 superflex tight-end premium rookie mock draft and awards superlatives.
Kevin Coleman hosted a 2025 superflex tight-end premium rookie mock draft live on YouTube on Saturday, and this article will hand out superlatives to analyze the value in current rookie drafts. As a disclaimer, these awards are my opinion, and I’m confident the drafters could justify every pick that I don’t like. We also want to thank everyone who participated in the rookie mock draft. All the drafters can be seen in the video above.

The Quarterbacks
In superflex leagues, it’s difficult to wrap my brain around the player virtually locked into the first-overall pick falling outside the top three. That happened here with Cam Ward, and that value would be worth trading up for if you’re sitting at the backend of the first round. In superflex leagues, first-round quarterbacks hold value longer, and top overall picks typically see the field as early as Week 1 in their draft year. While the clear No. 1 player in the class is Ashton Jeanty, the same way Bijan Robinson was ahead of the quarterbacks in his class when rookie drafts concluded, Ward shouldn’t last past 1.03.
Similarly, Shedeur Sanders stands out for approaching Ward’s value and going ahead of Henderson, Loveland, Egbuka, and Judkins. With the NFL Draft still a couple of weeks away, Sanders’s spot at the top of the class is in question. With the Browns leaning toward Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter, and the Giants adding three quarterbacks in as many weeks, Sanders may find himself seated for an extended period on Thursday, April 24th. Could that boost his value? Perhaps. Landing in a more stable situation with a better infrastructure later in the draft could be beneficial, but it’ll likely be a poorly built team trading up to get him if the Browns and Giants pass on him.
The Amon-Ra St. Brown Best Value Award
Removing Ward from consideration, Emeka Egbuka takes this award. With wide receivers traditionally gaining and retaining value for extended periods, and more prolonged than running backs, in dynasty, snagging the No. 2 wide receiver in the draft as late as 1.10 is excellent value. I can make a strong case that this running back class deserves to push up into the first round, making this selection stomachable, but that doesn’t detract from the value dynasty managers will get. Pick 1.10 is a reasonable spot to expect Egbuka, unless he lands in an overtly ideal situation. Still, almost every situation conjurable is suitable for a reliable, power-slot player like him, and he’s still landing near the back of the first, providing excellent value.

2.08 | Tre Harris (WR - Mississippi)
2.09 | Dylan Sampson (RB - Tennessee)
