🧊 Section 1: Stock Up / Stock Down (Temperature Check)
Tracking player value swings that impact lineups, trades, and long-term outlook.
We’re eleven weeks in, and player values are already on the move. Every week brings risers and fallers, but these are the swings that matter most, breakouts you can lean into, and red flags you’ll want to keep an eye on.
Stock Up
WR Makai Lemon, USC
After a quiet two-week stretch, Makai Lemon reminded everyone why he’s still very much in the WR1 conversation for his class. Against Northwestern, the Trojans’ star wideout erupted for 11 catches, 161 yards, and two total touchdowns (one receiving, one rushing). From the opening drive, Lincoln Riley made it clear this offense would run through Lemon — literally and figuratively. His blend of strength after the catch, route precision, and open-field elusiveness gave Northwestern fits all afternoon.
When Lemon is cooking, so is Jayden Maiava. The two were in sync all game, with Maiava throwing for 299 yards and three total touchdowns. Lemon’s ability to dominate in both short-area routes and vertical concepts showcases his versatility and pro-ready game. He’s been USC’s most consistent offensive weapon this season, and this performance was the latest reminder that he’s still firmly in the WR1 race for his draft class.
RB Nate Frazier, Georgia
After an up-and-down start to the season filled with fumble concerns, Nate Frazier responded with his best performance yet, 12 carries for a career-high 181 yards and a touchdown in Georgia’s 41–21 win over Mississippi State. He looked explosive, confident, and in complete command of his reads. His 59-yard touchdown run showcased his elite burst and long speed, while multiple chunk plays proved his improved vision and patience behind a dominant Georgia offensive line.
Frazier’s humility postgame says a lot about his makeup, giving full credit to his line while showing a maturity that matches his physical growth. Kirby Smart praised his work ethic and consistency, calling the sophomore “deserving” of the breakout day. From a devy perspective, this is the version of Frazier that evaluators have been waiting for. He looked like the five-star athlete he was billed as, and this type of performance can reignite his stock down the stretch.
WR Cam Coleman, Auburn
Cam Coleman reminded everyone this week why he was one of the most highly touted recruits in the 2024 class and why his devy stock still has massive upside. Despite Auburn’s 45–38 overtime loss to Vanderbilt, Coleman was unstoppable, catching 10 passes for a career-high 143 yards and a jaw-dropping one-handed touchdown that will live in Auburn highlight reels for years.
Even while visibly limping through a lower-body issue, Coleman showcased elite body control, physicality, and hands making multiple contested catches, including a toe-tapper on the sideline and a one-handed snag on a 2-point conversion immediately after his touchdown. Auburn interim head coach DJ Durkin put it plainly: the offense needs to revolve around Coleman. He’s their difference-maker, and when he’s featured, Auburn looks dangerous.
This performance came at a pivotal time, not only for Auburn’s offense but for Coleman’s long-term outlook. After a frustrating season filled with instability and limited volume, this was the type of breakout game that can reset his devy narrative. He’s still one of the freakiest athletes in college football, and with the right system or a new coaching staff, his value could explode again.
Bottom line: Cam Coleman’s talent has never been in question and now his production is catching up. If Auburn can keep him out of the transfer portal (or if he lands in a better spot), he’ll reassert himself as one of the premier devy wideouts in the nation.
QB Joe Fagnano, UCONN
Quietly, Joe Fagnano has been one of the most efficient and mistake-free quarterbacks in college football this season and it’s about time he gets some national attention. The seventh-year senior earned a spot on the Davey O’Brien Award Great 8 for Week 11 after leading UConn to a thrilling 37–34 win over Duke, keeping the Huskies undefeated at home and improving them to 7–3 on the year.
Fagnano was sharp all afternoon, completing 28-of-40 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning drive capped by a 19-yard strike to Skyler Bell with under two minutes left. That clutch performance marked his fifth consecutive game with three or more touchdown passes and his fifth 300-yard outing of the season.
Through 10 games, Fagnano has thrown 25 touchdowns with zero interceptions — an absurd stat line in today’s college game. He’s also added mobility as a runner, rushing for 51 yards in the Duke win, showing poise, command, and underrated athleticism.
At 6’4”, 225 pounds, Fagnano possesses an NFL frame, strong processing ability, and impressive accuracy, he can layer throws, make anticipatory reads, and protect the football better than almost anyone in the country. The only knock? His age. But if Tyler Shough and other late bloomers have earned NFL opportunities, Fagnano deserves to be in that conversation.
He’s not flashy, but he’s the definition of consistent and the type of quarterback who wins games, leads locker rooms, and earns respect. His stock is trending up fast, and it’s time the devy and draft community takes notice.
