Each Tuesday throughout the season, this article will serve as your go-to resource for winning the college side of your C2C leagues. Whether you're grinding waivers, setting optimal lineups, or looking to exploit matchups based on offensive systems, this guide will cover it all.

We’ll break down key waiver adds, dive into start/sit decisions using matchup data and usage trends, and highlight which college offenses you need pieces of (or should be fading). Plus, Jay’s Data Corner will give you a weekly dose of analytics to sharpen your process.

If you're trying to win Saturdays and set up your dynasty roster for Sundays, this is the article for you. Let’s get into it.

Section 1: Stock Up / Stock Down (Temperature Check)

Tracking player value swings that impact lineups, trades, and long-term outlook.

After Week 1, there are a ton of players you could argue belong in the stock up or stock down conversation, but this section isn’t about box scores or overreactions. These are the names I personally find most interesting from a C2C lens, whether their value is quietly rising or possibly slipping. We're watching for trends that matter — usage, role, and trajectory.

📈 Stock Up

📈 Lucky Sutton, RB – San Diego State

We flagged Sutton as a priority offseason stash, and it didn’t take long for that call to pay off.

After sitting behind multiple backs for three years, Sutton finally got his shot in Week 1 and delivered. The former Cathedral Catholic standout turned in a 22-carry, 100-yard, 2-touchdown performance against Stony Brook, setting the tone for an Aztecs offense desperately in need of playmakers.

He showed vision, balance, and power but most importantly, he looked ready. He had 89 yards by halftime alone. Yes, the opponent wasn’t elite, but what matters is opportunity and execution, and Sutton checked both boxes. If this volume holds, he could be one of the steals of the season in CFF and a sneaky late bloomer in C2C formats.

C2C Note: If he strings together one more strong week, his value jumps fast. This is your last window to scoop him before his name enters everyone’s waiver column.

📈 Malik Washington, QB – Maryland

If you’ve been reading my stuff, you know I’ve been high on Malik Washington for a while and Week 1 validated all the reasons why.

The freshman was officially named the starter just hours before kickoff and went out and became the first Power Five freshman QB to throw 3 TDs in a season opener since Trevor Lawrence in 2018. After a shaky 3-for-11 start, Washington settled in and finished 27-of-43 for 258 yards and 3 touchdowns, leading Maryland to a 39-7 win over Florida Atlantic.

He looked poised, processed well, and showed command you just don’t expect from a true freshman making his debut. According to HC Mike Locksley: “He’s a little older than his years… and the best part is, he’s only going to get better.”

C2C Takeaway: You love to see a freshman earn the job and then flash like this out of the gate. He’s locked in as Maryland’s guy, and this system will give him every opportunity to produce. If you stashed him early, congrats. If not, monitor closely.

📈 Emanuel Henderson, WR – Kansas

After a quiet debut against Fresno State, Emanuel Henderson exploded in Week 1 and reminded everyone why he was one of our favorite value adds this offseason.

Kansas lost its top three receivers from 2024, and while they hit the portal hard to reload, Henderson stood out in a big way in their 46–7 blowout win over Wagner. The Alabama transfer hauled in 6 catches for 130 yards and 2 TDs, showcasing elite speed and fluid route running. He cooked his defender on a 62-yard post route for a house call, then joined the starters on the bench for the final quarter and a half.

It’s a remarkable step forward for a player who saw little usage at Alabama (5 receptions in 3 years) but has always had the raw speed and athleticism to be a difference-maker. And now, he’s finally getting a real shot.

C2C Takeaway: Henderson’s ascension gives Kansas a true vertical threat, which opens up the entire offense. He’s been a value stash all offseason, and this breakout game confirms the upside. If he’s on your bench, he shouldn’t be for long. If he’s still on waivers in shallower formats? Correct that immediately.

📈 Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, QB – Cal
