Who is Jaxson Dart?
Dart was a four-star in the composites and attended Corner Canyon High in Draper, Utah. Dart was a dual sport athlete and was given All-State honors on the diamond. Dart was a four-year player and broke out as a junior for Roy High. He completed 64.4% of his passes for 2,440 yards, with 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Dart would transfer to powerhouse Corner Canyon for his Senior season and be showcased. Dart completed 69.6% of his completions for 4,691 yards with 67 touchdowns to four interceptions and gained 1,195 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
Dart was a consensus top 50 prospect in the composite, initially committed to USC, and was part of the 2021 class. Dart saw action in six games and started the final three games. After the season, USC hired Lincoln Riley and brought Caleb Williams into the program. Dart would enter the transfer portal and end up at Ole Miss. Dart would be the unquestioned starter for the 2022 season, and it wasn’t a bad first season in the SEC for Dart; he would go on to complete 62.4% of his passes and threw for 2,974 yards with 20 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. After a much improved 2023 season where Dart took care of the football, he enters his senior season with the potential of being a riser in this 2025 draft class for the quarterbacks.
