Dynasty ADP never stays still for long, and this time of year can create some of the biggest swings in player value. Training camp buzz, preseason usage, injuries, depth-chart movement, and changing expectations can quickly push players up or down draft boards.
In this edition of Dynasty ADP Movers and Risers, we’re breaking down the players who have seen the most notable changes in the market and, more importantly, whether those moves are justified. Some players are finally getting the value bump they deserve, while others may be climbing too quickly based on a small sample of August hype.
The goal isn’t just to identify who is moving. It’s to figure out what we should actually do about it. Which risers are still worth buying? Which fallers have become opportunities? And where has the dynasty market potentially overcorrected?
Let’s get into the biggest ADP moves and what they mean for your dynasty rosters.
Deebo Samuel +56.2 ADP Change
Deebo Samuel has been one of the biggest ADP risers of the offseason, jumping 56.2 spots, and I understand why the market is reacting. San Francisco brought him back after adding Mike Evans and Christian Kirk, and Samuel has already been moved around the formation throughout camp. He also played with the starters in the preseason and caught a pass on the opening play, so this doesn’t look like a situation where he was brought in simply to provide veteran depth. The 49ers clearly have plans for him. But from a dynasty perspective, I’m using this rise in value as an opportunity to move Deebo.
Samuel is 30 years old, and there are still a lot of questions about what his weekly role actually looks like in an offense that now includes Evans, Kirk, George Kittle and an impressive young receiver in De’Zhaun Stribling. Deebo can still provide useful fantasy weeks because of how creatively San Francisco can deploy him, but I’m much more interested in what his increased ADP allows me to get back in a trade than I am betting on another long-term value spike.
This is exactly the type of veteran asset I want to capitalize on when the market starts moving. If I can turn Deebo into a younger player, another established veteran I prefer, or even get a future pick that gives me more flexibility, I’m doing it. His value could absolutely remain steady during the season if the production is there, but the downside is much greater than the upside from his current dynasty price.

Deebo Samuel for a 2028 3rd + Tory Horton: Give me the Horton side. I’ll take the younger upside and the future pick.
Deebo Samuel + Stefon Diggs for DJ Moore: Easily DJ Moore for me. This is exactly how I want to consolidate aging veterans.
Deebo Samuel for Tre Harris: Give me Harris. I’d rather bet on the younger receiver maintaining or increasing his dynasty value.
Deebo Samuel for Brenton Strange: In TE premium, I’m comfortable moving Deebo for Strange and shifting into a younger asset at a position where the scoring format creates additional value.
Deebo Samuel for Courtland Sutton: I prefer Sutton. If I’m staying with an older receiver, I want the player I feel better about having a consistent target-earning role.
Market Takeaway: Deebo rising this much is good news if you already roster him. I just don’t think it means you should suddenly view him as a dynasty buy. This is a value window I’m looking to sell into.
