Dynasty Trade Trends: The 5 Most Moved Players In June!
Kevin looks at the most traded assets in the month of May!
Training camps are coming, and dynasty markets are starting to tighten. This is the part of the offseason where speculation starts turning into action. Managers have had time to digest roster moves, rookie situations, OTAs, coach quotes, and early depth chart buzz. Now the market is trying to get ahead of what comes next before camp reports start driving value swings.
June is always an interesting trading stretch because managers are positioning themselves before training camp narratives fully take over. Some players are being bought before their role becomes obvious. Others are being sold before uncertainty becomes a bigger problem. This is where the market starts to show us which players managers are chasing, which ones they are nervous about, and where value may be moving before the season gets closer.
As always, we’re tapping into real deals from FantasyCalc to see what’s actually happening in your leagues, not just what people are saying on the timeline. Let’s dive into the five most moved assets in June and what their trade volume tells us about the current dynasty market.
How to Use This Article
This isn’t a buy/sell list.
It’s a market map.
As you read through each player, ask:
Am I holding this asset or chasing it?
Does this player give me flexibility in future trades?
Is this a consolidation piece or a piece I should consolidate out of?
Because dynasty isn’t about being right once. It’s about staying liquid, leveraged, and in control long enough to win repeatedly.
Rome Odunze — WR, Chicago Bears
Rome Odunze is an interesting name because it feels like the market has almost moved past him a little too quickly. He is not the shiny new piece in Chicago anymore. Colston Loveland and Luther Burden are getting a lot of the buzz, Caleb Williams is entering another year in Ben Johnson’s offense, and the Bears suddenly have a lot of mouths to feed. That is all fair. The target competition is real, and Odunze is probably not walking into a true alpha target share. Still, we cannot forget what we saw early last season. Before the offense shifted and the injuries started piling up, Odunze looked like he was on the verge of a real breakout. He was earning targets, winning in the red zone, and flashing the type of high-value usage we want to see from young dynasty wide receivers.
That is what makes him a sneaky buy depending on the market. He is not my favorite Bears pass catcher at cost if everyone is pricing him like a locked-in difference-maker, but if managers are more excited about Burden and Loveland, this is where I am interested. Odunze is still tied to Caleb Williams, still has touchdown upside, and still showed he can be a major part of this offense when things are clicking. DJ Moore’s departure also leaves behind real volume and touchdown opportunities, so there is a path for Odunze to matter even in a crowded offense. He may not be the cleanest buy, but he is the type of player I want to check in on before training camp pushes the market one way or the other.
