Before we get into this article, I want to take a moment to share something personal.

My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer. She’s been a single mom since I was 7 years old. And if there’s one thing that’s always defined her, it’s that she showed up. Every game, every sport, every season, I could look into the stands and find her. It didn’t matter the time, the location, or if it was an away game. She adjusted her work schedule, made sacrifices, and made sure she was there.

That’s always stuck with me. As a parent now, it’s something I try to carry forward with my girls. I know I’m not perfect, never will be, but showing up matters. It means everything.

This early stage of her diagnosis has given me a lot of time to reflect on what’s important. And honestly, it puts a lot into perspective. In this space, we can get caught up in rankings, trades, debates, and things that feel big in the moment. But when something real hits, when you’re faced with the reality of someone you love going through something like this, it resets everything.

I’ve had moments where I’ve questioned all of this: the content, the grind, the time it takes. I’ve had those conversations with people close to me and others in this space. But through all of it, I keep coming back to the same place.

I’m in this for the long haul.

It’s an outlet for me. I genuinely care about the people who read, listen, and support what we’re building. I want to help you win your leagues. And more than that, I think the community we’ve built, small as it may be, actually means something. To me, and hopefully to you too. So while we’ve been navigating my mom’s journey, I just want to say thank you. To everyone who reads, supports, and is part of this.

It means more than you know.

Now let’s get into fantasy football.

How to Use This Article

This isn’t a buy/sell list.

It’s a market map.

As you read through each player, ask:

  • Am I holding this asset or chasing it?

  • Does this player give me flexibility in future trades?

  • Is this a consolidation piece or a piece I should consolidate out of?

Because dynasty isn’t about being right once. It’s about staying liquid, leveraged, and in control long enough to win repeatedly.

DJ Moore — WR, Buffalo Bills

DJ Moore is one of the most interesting names I’ve seen consistently moved this month, and it makes sense when you look at where his value sits right now. The production is trending the wrong way. After that monster 2023 season, things have steadily dipped, culminating in a pretty disappointing 2025 where he put up just 50 catches for 682 yards and 6 touchdowns across 17 games. That’s not moving the needle in dynasty, especially when you factor in how involved that Chicago offense actually was. Caleb Williams took a leap, the team won games, and Moore still faded into the background.

That’s the concern. But now the market is reacting to the move to Buffalo\ and that’s where things get interesting. Buffalo didn’t just add him as a depth piece. They traded for him. That matters. Teams don’t spend real capital unless they have a plan. And when you look at that receiver room, there’s a very real path for Moore to step in as the top outside option immediately.

More importantly, this is a quarterback upgrade. Playing with Josh Allen changes everything. We’ve been begging for someone to step into that true WR1 role in Buffalo, and Moore has the profile to do it. He’s also familiar with Joe Brady’s system, which matters more than people think. We’ve seen him produce in that offense before when he was getting peppered with targets.

Now, this isn’t a clean profile. He’s going to be 29. The efficiency dipped hard last year. The target earning wasn’t where you want it to be. And Buffalo could still add to this room. So you’re not buying some insulated asset here.

This is a classic dynasty middle zone player. If you’re contending and you can get him for a second, I’m making that move. That’s the exact type of bet you want to make, cheap access to upside tied to an elite QB.

But I’m also not holding too tight. If he comes out hot with Allen early in the season, that’s your window. That’s where you flip him for a first if your roster construction calls for it. You don’t hate having him. You don’t feel great about him either. That’s exactly why he’s being traded this much.
