Four weeks are behind us, and the identity of this fantasy season is starting to take shape. We’ve reached the point where trends have become truths, usage is stabilizing, and depth charts are beginning to solidify — for better or worse. This is where sharp dynasty managers start separating from the pack, capitalizing on market inefficiencies before the rest of the league catches up.

The goal remains the same: simplify the chaos. You shouldn’t need ten tabs open on a Monday morning to figure out what matters. This is your one-stop shop — dynasty risers and fallers, buy/sell/hold trade calls, injury fallout, panic checks, and redraft edges to help you stay a step ahead each week.

Week 5 gave us some breakout performances, some warning signs, and plenty of movement in dynasty value. Let’s dive into it — starting with this week’s headline story.

This week’s column is dropping a day later than usual — I attended a funeral earlier this week. Appreciate everyone’s patience and continued support.

Section 1: Trends & Usage Tracker (The Data Pulse)

Five weeks are in the books, and this is where truth starts to separate from noise. Snap shares are stabilizing, usage trends are becoming clear, and dynasty values are shifting in ways that can’t be ignored. We’re now deep enough into the season to identify real trends — who’s earning trust, who’s fading fast, and where opportunity is starting to reshape long-term outlooks.

Week 5 brought breakout performances, disappointing letdowns, and usage swings that matter for both redraft and dynasty. And it all starts in Cleveland, where David Njoku reminded everyone why patience can still pay off — posting his best game of the season with new quarterback Dillon Gabriel under center.

David Njoku Revives His Stock with Dillon Gabriel at QB

David Njoku reclaimed his role as the Browns’ lead tight end in Week 5 and may have reasserted himself as a legitimate fantasy factor in both dynasty and redraft formats. After weeks of seeing rookie Harold Fannin Jr. eat into his snaps and targets, Njoku was once again the clear TE1, handling nearly every one-tight-end set and providing a steady presence for rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel in his first career start.

Njoku caught six passes for 67 yards and a touchdown, leading the team in receiving production. Fannin also found the end zone, but this game made it clear Cleveland wanted a veteran security blanket for Gabriel and Njoku delivered. After spending most of September in a near-even timeshare, Njoku’s usage bump and chemistry with the new QB could signal a return to steady TE1 relevance.

The Browns’ heavy use of 12 personnel (two-tight-end sets) keeps both Njoku and Fannin on the fantasy radar, but the arrow is pointing up for the veteran. If Cleveland sticks with Gabriel or even transitions to Shedeur Sanders later in the season, Njoku’s role as a reliable, short-area target should hold firm.

Dynasty Take: Njoku’s value stabilizes after a slow start; Fannin remains an intriguing long-term stash but faces an uphill climb for consistent volume.
Redraft Take: Njoku’s back on the streaming radar — and trending toward every-week starter status if this connection continues.
