Dynasty Weekly Rundown + Redraft Reload
Unpacking market trends, player movement, and waiver-wire gold every Monday.
Seven weeks are behind us, and the identity of this fantasy season is starting to take shape. We’ve reached the point where trends have become truths, usage is stabilizing, and depth charts are beginning to solidify for better or worse. This is where sharp dynasty managers start separating from the pack, capitalizing on market inefficiencies before the rest of the league catches up.
The goal remains the same: simplify the chaos. You shouldn’t need ten tabs open on a Monday morning to figure out what matters. This is your one-stop shop dynasty risers and fallers, buy/sell/hold trade calls, injury fallout, panic checks, and redraft edges to help you stay a step ahead each week.
Week 7 gave us some breakout performances, some warning signs, and plenty of movement in dynasty value. Let’s dive into it.
Section 1: Trends & Usage Tracker (The Data Pulse)
We’re now past the halfway point of the fantasy regular season, the time when usage tells the truth. The noise from early-season rotations is fading, and what’s left are the real indicators of trust, opportunity, and staying power. Whether it’s a player carving out a defined role or a veteran losing his grip on touches, these usage shifts are where dynasty value begins to pivot.
This week’s snapshot starts in Cincinnati, where a familiar face might finally be trending back toward relevance and it’s not because of Joe Burrow.
The Bengals’ run game finally comes alive and Chase Brown might be back in business.
The Bengals’ run game finally showed signs of life, and Chase Brown was at the center of it, posting his best rushing output of the season before halftime. With Joe Flacco under center, the offense suddenly looked functional again, and that opened up running lanes Brown hasn’t seen all year.
Brown handled 63% of offensive snaps and 11 of 18 RB carries (61%), regaining control of the early-down work that made him relevant last season. His burst was back, and the film backed it up, per Next Gen Stats, Brown gained 66 rushing yards over expected, showing the vision and acceleration that made him a preseason dynasty buy.
Samaje Perine still mixed in heavily on passing downs and second-and-long situations, but Brown’s efficiency and renewed confidence were clear. Even a modest workload split won’t kill his value if the Bengals’ offense stays on schedule with Flacco.
📊 Dynasty Outlook: Brown isn’t a dead asset anymore. With a favorable schedule (2nd-easiest for RBs from Weeks 8–17) and a steady role on early downs, he’s trending toward RB2/FLEX value rest-of-season and should be viewed as a hold or speculative buy before he reclaims full control of the backfield.
