Week 5 was another strong one. We finished 6-2 across game picks, totals, and player props, pushing the season record to 34-16 overall.
That puts us at 68% on the season, and more importantly, we are continuing to stack winning weeks.
At this point, we have a pretty good read on what most of these teams are. Offensive identities are clear, rotations have settled in, and injuries and matchup-specific weaknesses matter even more now. The market is sharper too, so there is less room for lazy analysis and more reason to be selective.
That has been the biggest key for us so far. Stay disciplined, trust the spots we like, and keep attacking numbers where we still see an edge.
Now let’s go make it another winning Saturday.
Five Best Bets ATS
LSU @ Kentucky Over 49.5 Points
I like the over here because there are too many paths to points on both sides. LSU has the clearest trench advantage. Princewill Umanmielen has been a problem all season, and Kentucky has already allowed 11 sacks. If the Wildcats fall behind the chains, LSU should be able to create pressure and force mistakes.
But Kentucky does not need to sustain 12-play drives to score. Kenny Minchey has been one of the better deep-ball quarterbacks in the SEC, and that gives the Wildcats a chance to create explosive plays even if the offense is inconsistent snap to snap. LSU’s defense is aggressive, and that can create opportunities downfield if Minchey survives the initial pressure.
On the other side, Kentucky’s defense may have to blitz Sam Leavitt to create disruption. That is dangerous against a quarterback who can punish one-on-one coverage when he gets time. If LSU can stay balanced and establish the run, I think the Tigers will have plenty of scoring opportunities.
The turnover potential is another reason I like this. Kentucky has been excellent at forcing takeaways, while both quarterbacks have shown they can put the ball in harm’s way. Short fields, sudden-change possessions, and defensive scores can push a total like this over quickly.
I also like the late-game script. If LSU gets up by 10 or 14 points, Kentucky is going to have to speed things up and throw aggressively. That opens the door for both comeback points and cheap late scores. I do not need a shootout.
Something like 31-21 or 34-20 gets us there.
