Top 5 Dynasty Assets Traded In June

June marks the heart of the dynasty offseason dry spell. Rookie drafts are mostly wrapped up, training camps haven’t started, and the excitement of free agency and the NFL Draft has faded. It’s a quiet stretch on the calendar—but that doesn’t mean dynasty leagues are standing still. In fact, savvy managers often use this lull to capitalize on shifting market values and prepare their rosters for the long season ahead.

Using data from FantasyCalc and Dynasty Daddy, we’ve identified the five most traded dynasty assets in the month of June. In this article, we’ll break down each player’s value, examine recent trade trends, and explore what their movement reveals about the current state of the dynasty market. The action may be slower, but the edge is still there for those paying attention.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs

Josh Downs is the kind of player dynasty managers fall in love with during the slow months. He’s a volume-based slot guy who had flashes last year, finishing as WR30 in points per game. But let’s not get carried away. He posted a shallow 6.9 aDOT, has just seven total touchdowns in 31 career games, and we’re looking at a Colts offense that’s still unsettled at quarterback and just spent a first-round pick on Tyler Warren, a tight end who could eat into those short-area targets. People will talk about his first read share and while good that changes with Warren on this roster no matter who starts at quarterback for the Colts this season.

This is the classic case of a player being more valuable in theory than in actual return. Downs is good, but he’s likely maxed out in terms of dynasty value right now. If you check out some of the recent deals below, I’d move him in a heartbeat for any 2025 first. I’d even take a shot on someone like Alvin Kamara if I’m a contender — he still has league-winning upside. Heck, even a stash like Tucker Kraft might be the better long-term swing.

Verdict: Sell

Dynasty Trade Market for Josh Downs

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams

As someone who’s been on the Jameson Williams train since Day 1, I’ll be the first to admit, his dynasty value is tough to pin down. He’s the definition of a high-variance asset heading into 2025. We’re either going to look back six weeks into the season and say, “Man, you should’ve cashed out while he still had value,” or we’re going to be screaming, “Ben Johnson was the one holding him back this whole time: WR1 SZN is HERE.”

I get both sides. But honestly? I think he’s worth holding if you’ve got him. The early camp buzz has been strong, and the new offensive coordinator seems to be prioritizing him in the passing game. The Lions have clearly been playing the long game with Williams. He’s developing at all three levels and finally looked comfortable late last year. He posted four WR1 finishes and ended the year as the WR23 in points per game. The upside is still intact, and he's just 24 years old.

Here’s where it gets tricky:
If he’s already on your roster, I’m holding.
If he’s not? I’m probably not going out of my way to acquire him.
So yeah—classic “depends on your build” player.

If you can tier up into a safer asset like Nico Collins or another proven wideout in a deal, I’d consider it. But his ceiling is real, and if he pops early, that window will slam shut fast.

Verdict: Hold (Market Dependent)
